The EISC screening will consider whether the range of water depths warrants differentiated assessment. This will be addressed in the upcoming screening meeting.
The project description mentions drilling in water depths of 60 to 1500 metres. The environmental risks at those depths are very different. The review should assess impacts separately for shallow and deep water scenarios.
I'd like to know what contingency plans are in place for ice scour events at the Isserk I-15 location. The Beaufort Sea shelf is known for significant ice movement in that area.
